Awareness and internal audit techniques are among the most important tools for compliance in highly regulated industries.

> This course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to plan and conduct an internal audit based on the requirements of ISO 20180:22000 for Food Safety Management Systems and management systems audit principles in accordance with ISO standard 20180:22000
> The ISO 22000:22000 Food Management and Safety System standard is the latest version of an international standard designed for the food industry.
> This course is designed to guide you through the principles, requirements and practices of the international standard ISO 22000 and learn how to contribute to the continuous improvement of your management system. It also assists in managing food safety related documents such as remedial action or non-conformance requests, customer complaints and audit trails.
> Strong support and commitment from management is a major factor and principle that can influence the successful implementation of the internal audit system in an organization.
> Furthermore, employee participation in the process and effective and transparent communication helps in successfully establishing and managing a food safety management system.
Course objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
 Describe the requirements for a food safety and management system in accordance with ISO 22000
 Description of the Hazard Analysis Model based on the Food Safety Management System and the Risk Based Approach according to ISO 22000
 Describe the role of internal audit in maintaining and improving management systems
 Plan, perform and report an internal audit of a portion of the Food Safety Management System in accordance with ISO 19011:2018
 The purpose of the training ensures a comprehensive transfer of knowledge and understanding of the internal audit process based on the requirements of ISO 22000:2018 and the principles of ISO standards for audit management system.
